Making a “paid” version of Ajax Edit Comments hasn’t come without its fair share of criticism.
The most criticism has come in the way of our prices, and not in the way you might expect.
Most people say we price AEC too low. Yes, you read that right.
It’s come to our attention through various marketing experts that AEC may be pricing itself out of the market. In other words, by charging such a low price, we may actually be turning off users rather than attracting them. It has something to do with perceived value.
As a result, we will be increasing our prices starting Monday, March 22nd. Existing subscribers need not worry about these changes. As long as you maintain your current subscription, you are locked in at our low rate.
The new prices are as follows:
- 1 Site – $25 a year
- 2-3 Sites – $45 a year
- 4-5 Sites – $55 a year
- Unlimited Sites – $75 a year
- Unlimited Version – $150 one-time fee
So what does this mean to you? Well, you are all affiliates. Use your influence to get as many people to sign up before our prices change.
The increase in price should also help out our affiliates as well. Since affiliates earn 50%, the incentive to draw in new users will be that much better.
