For those following the forums or us on twitter, you know we’ve been working hard on the 4.0 release due late February/early March.
Here’s a sneak peek of some of the features we’ve already finished.
The New AEC Edit Screen
You’ll notice two new icons: one is for After the Deadline, and the other is to expand the editing box to the full width/height of the browser window.

Shown above is the edit box with After the Deadline enabled. AEC and ATD are a match made in heaven!
After the Deadline Integrated Comment Box
One feature that was requested via our forums was After the Deadline integration on the front-end of the blog before a comment was posted. As a result, two new icons show up above the comment textarea. One is for After the Deadline, and the other is to expand the comment box as a lightbox.

With the “expand” box in the editor window, we thought it would be a good idea to have that same functionality when writing the comment.
New Admin Panel Interface
As promised, the new AEC admin-panel interface.
Sortable Menu Options
And finally, a sneak peek at a work-in-progress: sortable menu options. For those that use the drop-down menu, you will be able to sort and drag across menus. You will also be able to disable the features you don’t use.
