Only option I set to now was comment deletion. Everything else is pretty much active except for the "more options" feature for the edit panel. Leaving that on is what messes things up, I assume because of a jquery conflict somewhere like you mentioned. I'm not worried about it as I don't really need it.

Happy New Year!

The turn off more options is for the edit panel. I'll revise the wording in the next version.

To get rid of the more options on the post, to to the styles section where it says drop down and select classic.

What option did you set to no?

I'll also work on that comment deletion area to be more theme compatible.

I've been testing and so far am a bit confused about AEC's settings. Despite setting "Turn Off More Options?" to yes, I still see a "More Options" icon under each comment, although it seems to work fine for me. All the possible options from emailing to blacklisting a commenter appears to work fine. When I set it to no, that's when the errors mentioned before occur. Weird.

Another minor bug that has more to do with my theme than AEC is what happens when you request to delete a comment. After you send a request, the comment header is erased while the original comment still remains. The result is that the comment requested for deletion crashes into the comment above and before. Looks pretty messy, so I disabled the deletion option for now.

Yeah, I'm definitely cached up the wazoo. Will keep testing to see if any issues reappear.

It may have been a caching issue. It happens occasionally.

Huh, it's working fine now. I can't seem to reproduce the issues I saw before at all. : : :

I'll keep testing though to make sure.

Will the code specifically have the phrase "jquery" in it? if it does I'll do a keyword search to see everything that might be calling it. My first guess is that it's a lightbox plugin, so I'll check that out first and see what happens.

Sounds indeed like a plugin and/or theme conflict. Typically this will occur when the theme and/or plugin loads jQuery without using wp_enqueue_script, such as WP-PostViews you mentioned in another post.

Do a quick scan of your source and see if you can find multiple uses of jQuery. If so, let us know if it's the theme, or, if it's a plugin, which one.

Whenever I try to use AEC on my admin page, clicking on one of the AEC icons results in a popup that says:

"[object XMLDocument]"

Other times the popup spans the entire window, and clicking on cancel results no action, forcing me to either close the tab or jump back a few pages to access admin again.

When "More options" is enabled, rather than show more options when I click on it, it gives me a 404 error.

When attempting to edit comments on a post page, the popup once again maximizes to the entire window, and the cancel button is again nonfunctional. The only way I avoid these issues is by turning off "More Options" and setting the icon display to dropdown rather than classic.

Oy what a mess.
